Are you coming to my Melbourne workshop?

Are you coming - or would you like to come - to my workshop in Melbourne on Saturday February 6th?

If so, please may I ask you to read pages 1-14 of your Workshop Handbook and start the suggested pre-workshop activities by Wednesday morning at the very latest?

Yes, I am giving you homework to do before the workshop!

The reason for this is that the few minutes of effort that you invest in yourself before the workshop will help you to get so much more out of the event. In fact, the activities that I'll invite you to participate in on Saturday are dependent upon your having done your homework before the workshop.

I know you probably don't like homework, but I promise you that it will be worth your while. Last month I received an e-mail from a beautiful woman who did my workshop in May last year. Cherry has kindly allowed me to share her e-mail with you here. I distinctly remember that Cherry had done her homework before the workshop, and now look at her results:

Dear Amanda,

Thank you for all your support this year. I read your book in January 09, and started putting your ideas into practice then, but it wasn't until May when I attended your workshop that the weight really started coming off. Since I wrote to you in October I have lost a further 3 kilos! So over the year I have lost 11.1 kilos! Needless to say - I am thrilled. Yesterday I went for a small run and realised that I am carrying 11 kilos less than when I went for a run a year ago. Again, I can't thank you enough for your support and workshops last year. I really have a different approach to thinking about food, without taking away the passion for eating and cooking.
