Oprah's latest diet move
Last month I was invited to talk on Channel 7 Sunrise about Oprah's latest move in the battle of the bulge. After years of yo-yo dieting, Oprah has given up the weight war and has now ballooned to over 200 pounds (91 kilos).
She writes in the January issue of O Magazine that her goal is no longer to be thin; instead, she wants to be strong, healthy and fit.
The first question Nat and Koshie asked me was "if someone like Oprah Winfrey has given up the battle of the bulge, what hope do the rest of us have"
As you'll see in my interview, Oprah's decision to take a step back from trying to lose weight with restrictive diets is actually a fantastic move.
Our bodies are genetically programmed to be an optimum healthy weight. So if you focus on the healthy lifestyle like Oprah, and you eat according to your hunger, then the excess weight will come off and stay off.

Oprah gives so much good to the world; I'd love to help her reach her ideal healthy weight by connecting with her body.
If you know Oprah, or you know someone who knows her, please may I ask you to let her know about my interview and my website? It may be just what she needs to break the yo-yo diet cycle and find lasting peace with food and her body.
What our readers say...
"THE BEST BIT IS I CAN START NOW. I liked that Amanda has experienced the same problems I have. It is also good to know that it is scientifically backed up. The best bit is I can start now. There is no diet starts tomorrow. "
